I'm a good ole Franklin County boy, I live just south of Roanoke. I've been workin and wheelin these thing since I was 11. I've got a red 96 Cherokee and a 88 Comanche. You need a hand wrenching or any used parts man get a hold of me. The only thing I haven't done to these bad boys is cage or put one tons underneath them, but that's coming real soon. Working on cars is what I'm all about man. Look up University of Northwestern Ohio, that's the college I'm about to graduate from for High Performance Automotive.

Default Rear Sway

Dude...nice XJ. Do yourself a HUGE favor....take 10 minutes and remove the rear sway bar!!! I almost ate through a brand new set of tires in about 15 minutes. The smell of burning rubber filled my cab in about 10 minutes of driving. Being new to the XJ world, I was a lil nervous about removing it, but I have noticed NO difference in handling. It cost me a 500 bux to replace the two rear tires......but it worked out good cuz it gave me a reason to jump up to 31X10.50's after a lift. There is a little metal nub (on mine there was) on the rear sway that did a number on my tires. I'm glad I didn't learn the hard way at 65 mph.

But...good work on the XJ!!!

Yes it will be fine! I removed mine last yeah and I drive over 100 miles round trip to work and back over mountains in WV and I drive mine like a stock car most of the time. Trust us all and remove it!! Just done fool with your front one unless your off road and you have disconnects.
