Project Quarter Pounder
This will be my first jeep build for me, sold my 2010 F-150 FX4 super crew I had earlier in the year while i was deployed. she had a rancho quicklift and 33" General Grabbers and a bunch of other accessories but with gas prices in hawaii so damn high i was paying almost as much in gas as i was paying for it and it being a newer truck didn't want to rip it apart too much even though i had the urge too so i cut my ties with her and picked up a bone stock red 99 Cherokee Classic 4x4 and got a pretty good deal on it. Lady was willing to let it go for cheap because it needed a valve job done on it which is where the ideas started flowing (505 Performance 4.6L Stroker Kit ). Parts on order so far.....
-505 Performance Stage 1 Cylinder Head
-505 Performance Stage 1 Cam Kit (Stroker Kit will be done once everything else is done)
-Rubicon Express 5.5" Long Arm Suspension Kit
-G2 D44 w/ ARB Front Axle
-Taking my buddies ford 8.8 with rear disc brakes and 31 spline axles off his mercury mountaineer and adding a Detroit Locker
Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 35x1250R15 on some steel wheels
The only bad thing about living in Hawaii is shipping.... its gonna take around 4-6 weeks for my axle to get here... I'll post up some pics of it pre-build tomorrow when the weather is a little nicer. let me know what you guys think so far!
