Thought I'd show you this guy I saw at WalMart this week. I'm pretty sure it's owned by the owner of the Chrysler dealership in a nearby town. I know for a fact it's got the 6.1 Hemi setup in it and is one bada** rig.

I got the chance to hook the Jeep up to a fuel pressure gauge and it immediately loses fuel pressure after the key is turned off, but runs at 50 psi at idle so it looks like a fuel pump is in order. I was wondering if anybody cared to advise me against a cheap one in favor of something like a Bosch. I also figured out what the play in my steering wheel was. The two bolts holding my steering gearbox to the frame must be loose because the entire box moves when turning the steering wheel in addition to the track bar being worn out.
Last thing I messed with tonight was the spotlight on the side. I would like it removed for the time being and maybe do a different style down the road. The problem is that there was a massive hole drilled in the A pillar. Any body know of a way that I could repair this?

Getting More Parts!
Got myself a Craigslist deal on a Rough Country 4.5" Lift, so that will hopefully be going on in the next few weeks. The ad said it was the X-Series lift with new leaves, but it was only an AAL. I went ahead and bought it anyway, but was sure to chip the price down quite a bit more.
Just waiting to gather the tires/wheels before letting this thing go under the knife. I had a line on some cheap black steelies but they went before I could arrange a time to get there. I'm looking into doing something different for wheels and could get a good deal on Pro Comp stuff through work, so I'm contemplating these:

The place I work for also does a good amount of work with Toyo, so I'm looking for a good price on a set of the new Toyo Open Country A/T II's unless I get another Craigslist find. Winter plans will hopefully allow me to get some bedliner up on this thing once the lift is done. If anybody has any bedliner/prepping suggestions or photos of their rigs I'd love to see them.

Well...I have ended up going a completely different direction in less than 24 hours...gotta love it. I knew a guy that just built a JK and he cut me a deal on his stock 18" wheels from his Sahara with just 200 miles on them and I took them. They've got 32" Bridgestone Duelers on them which will work great until I want to get an M/T or something else. It sort of makes me wonder what to do with them when I want to bedliner this thing, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

The plan is to put the lift on tomorrow since my my tires came on the big brown truck and the wheels are supposed to show tomorrow. These are the 31x10.5R15 Toyo Open Country A/T II and I'm impressed with their look right away. Can't wait to see them on my new wheels.

After trying to get it aligned I was told I needed my new ***** joints on one side and upper control arm bushings...........
AFTER I DID THAT....I got the wheels and tires on. 15" Pro Comps w/ 31x10.5 Toyo Open Country A/T II's. Really aggressive look and have rode great so far. I'll try to get more pics of it in the light. Tires are too big I guess and rub on the end caps of the bumper when I turn right. More on the to do list I guess!
