Yes, stock worn out springs with an xj add a leaf...it used to be level but started using as a truck for heavy loads and the springs sagged bad...I can't complain for a 20+ year old truck...

Well i snagged a set of 2 door xj tilt seats from a 98 for $40! Got the drivers seat mounted tonight. will mount the passenger seat tomorrow, then all i need is a first gen center console for a manual. pics to come in a minute. A note to remember. Mj Buckts are unique and even 1st gen XJ seats dont bolt in. If you have the obs seats, you can jsut swap tracks. In this case, the 97+ seats have a much wider track and you must fab mounts.

Pre 1990; they were 2wd, SWB, 4.0, ax-15, with actual guages, some interior conveniences, bolstered bucket seats, and 3.55 gears. It was touted as the fastest compact truck for its time. In 1990 they offered a 4wd option.

To-da. A set of 98 2 door buckets installed. Tons of leg room. Now I just need a center console. I am 5'10" and I can't touch my toes to the back of the footwell and I can put my knees on the dash if I slide it all the way forward.

Alrighty , using the true method for measuring lift of top of axle tube to frame rail, I verified I am sitting at 4" rear and 4.25" front. Some driveline angle photos for reference.
Running these numbers, ive got Rustys 3" HD Coils.
