oh, yea, they are long gone. The lower links would bottom out on them just going through pot holes. only thing left is the outer section that's stitch welded to the outside of the unibody. one day ill get to em, but not yet. i still have to mount the tie-in brackets.

See that thicker bar in the j shaped channel...push up.
Got the door latch! I'll make a sticky post. That little lever did the trick

Back on 33's. Temporarily. These rims and tires will go on the expedition trailer as soon as I get a set of 17's to match a set of 35s I have in the shed.

Now you have as many pre 2000 Jeep's as I do...lol It's nice when something breaks and you're like, "hold on...I have one of those right over here..."
How's the 3 link riding?
Couldn't swap over the door hardware or easier just doing the whole door? Painting it?

Exactly! no need to go to a junkyard. Just part out and keep in storage The part that went bad was the latch assembly. I started to swap it out, and then realized what a pain inthe rear it was going to be to disconnect all the rods on 2 doors. fish the new one in there and try to blindly re-connect the rods. So i just swapped the doors since i wasnt keeping the 94 Shell. I love the 3 link, bilstein shocks, Rustys 6.5 coils. it rides so much better than short arms at that height.

Welp, fired up the truck after work friday and my windshield instantly fogged up. smelled coolant, and noticed a nice pool of green Antifreeze on my passenger floor liner. You all know what that means. Guess i get to pull the entire dash as soon as the temps get above Zero. UGHHHHH

That sucks big time! Is that the way to fix that just with Commanchee or like that with XJs as well?

It's like that with darn near EVERY vehicle. It has to do with the assembly process when they build them. First they put the firewall on the frame, then they put the heater core in, then everything else. I've done a few and they are a PITA. Wish you luck on the Comanche.
