No not yet :/ im waiting on my tax return to pick up a trans and transfer case
Although im looking at a 96 red 4x4 that looks super cleen today so i'll see how that goes shes half an hour late already so idk

Is your front axle in? Swapping them should be pretty easy but I don't know what to do about steering, as in once I get the tie rod and drag link off, should I bolt them right up to the new one

Your stock setup will bolt right up to the D30. Un bolt the tie rod and draglink from the knuckles swap the D30 in and bolt them back on. The 2wd straight axle is a d30 with out the (ifferantial and axle shafts it bolts up exctly the same as a D30 would
