so here goes my build thread about my 88 XJ.
I bought it as is in the pic with a/c an and radio blah blah

here it is as soon as I got home that day. Paid $2500 for it.

2 new tires and the wheels from my Laredo with long tire valves cause i couldn't find the short ones with all the mud on them jajaja

A tire decided to fly off and busted up my fender

New fender installed and stickers removed (finally) also touched up the crappy paint job

previous owner didn't buy the right shocks so he made these little extender to compensate the 3" lift so I bought a pair of rancho monroe for 3" lifts
Was missing some hardware in the rear brakes so went a put in everything brand spanking new and now the parking brake works. (never seen an XJ with a working parking brake)

Same thing in front, everything brand new just in case since i already needed pads, rotors, and brake lines

I needed a new battery tray but also needed both screws. Only had the top part so I bought a 4 foot long threaded screw, cut it to size and secured it in place with two nuts. a lot easier to do since they don't fall down like the stock ones did

Top view of the idea i had

Got rid of the idiot clocks and put in this nice little thing. Sometime soon i will fit it with LEDs

Home brew fog light brackets

Installing a rear wiper motor. I hate driving with rear wiper

Don't touch the red switch!

6K HID's. 2 100 watt fog lights on top and 2 35? o maybe 55? watt fog lights on the brush guard. I have 2 more 100 watt fog lights on the way

This is the center console before

And here it is after
