that's the way to do it man. Get it capable, then just upgrade stuff as your stock **** breaks....

it's true...the body does look really high for a GTI.

Yeah most Gti you see have cut coils or adjustable coil overs. I'm gonna get some coilovers that allow me to adjust from about 1.25 to 3 inches lower! Some guys actually roll Their fenders out to allow for wider tires and more traction for all those horses I think the color scheme is gonna be black with some subtle hints of orange in the wheels and grill

Just read your build start to finish...love it. Love the color and flat flares...( mine will be similar but sitting on a RE 3.5 with 32x11.50x15 ) Thanks for all the pics...it's giving me some direction. Best of luck with the rest of the build.

So it was nice, well 50* degreese, out today so i decide to paint and install the rear bumper... got it on and everything fits and looks good!! take a look

I had a reciever from the factory on the jeep and HOLY FVCK was that thing hard to get off...serious PITA... the bolts wanted blood before they would come out, so i sacraficed some of my hand...OUCH
