Duffle bag is good at least I can represent when at the GYM which is why I wanted my T-Shirt that and when we go to runs we can show off the gear. People will ask and most likely join too. I'm just offering some advertising for CF!

Just looked through your thread. Great find for the price.

So.... you've had that lift for quite some time meow.
has anyone else asked about tires that are going on with this lift?

Keep up the good work! Interested to follow along.

Thanks for the interest.
I don't belive anyone has asked me about tires yet, and I've only stated that I want 35's. My kid is trying to talk me into Pit bull Rockers like his, and I do like them, but I don't want to be too much of a copy cat.

As far as my lift goes - yes I've had it a while. I almost have the funds for the sye kit , so I'll be getting the that soon. The tires I might buy used, but I gotta get this dang thing road worthy before I do my lift.

I think I just about have all my door wiring figured out now (wish I had manual doors!!), and am back to hunting down water leaks so I can start getting some miles on her.

I know your pain Kevin, I swapped my doors and it has been great since!! Only wires that will come through my doors once the weather gets better will be upgraded stereo speakers. Right now I really don't care for music because I'm not DD this rig. I'm still chasing my water gremlins too

I've been busy with life a bit this week, and didn't get much done on the Jeep during the week. Plus, after the electrical frustrations I had, I wasn't very motivated.

I did get the last pieces of the light grey swapped out and got all my dark grey door panels swapped in. I can add the dash ends and the a-pillar plastics to the pile of stuff i dont need any more.
Im so happy to see the dash and doors all swapped out to the dark grey!

When I pulled my carpet I noticed these goofy rubber pieces up by the fire wall had wet foam on the back side of them. I didn't want to mess with them while everything was soggy but I finally cut them out the best I could.

I had those in mine too and completly ripped them out of my floors and dash area. They are held in with what I thought to be plastic panel plugs. Held in there pretty damn good and mine were soaked too! Stupid water leaks. I did find out my windshield is leaking. After I caulked up the upper half of my windshield since I was missing the chrome moulding there anyhow it did slow the leaks but when I drove mine the other day to the kiddos school to meet up with them it was raining. Oh wait that is everyday lol. Any ways when I climbed back in water was dripping from roof and culprit was right where the windshield meets the interior frame area, damn it!!! That's okay I will just pay the $250 for new windshield and have a shop replace it in a couple weeks.

Here's a before and after pic of that foam backed rubber at the firewall in case people don't know what I'm talking about.

I got to inspecting my door wire boots today for leaks. They all looked pretty good except the back ones weren't quite in the grooves right. I cleaned the door and frame where the boots go in and the grooves in the boots themselves, and put everything back together. I don't really think I found anything that would have been causing the leak into my b-pillar, but now I can check these off the list. All 4 door wire boots are all inspected, cleaned as needed, and installed correctly now.

When i changed all my exterior lights out i noticed my third brake light had a pretty crappy seal. I got around to making a new rubber seal for it.

I don't think this is the cause of my rear leak, but now I won't have to worry about it leaking water into my hatch.

I cleaned the debris out of the channel above the rear hatch and used a squirt bottle to test for leaks. I didn't see anything dripping so I took off the plastic at the back of the roof panel to look around. My guess is that it is either coming in the broken hatch wire boots or from above the headliner. I'll keep the plastic off and do another garden hose leak test soon. It took awhile to clean the old sticky backed foam seal off, but its all clean now.
I cant tell if the rubber is too thick or just right, either way, im pretty sure it will seal better. I added a little permatex between the light and the rubber before installing.

I wish all I had to do was pay to have someone replace my windshield, this chasing leaks thing sucks!
