If the block needed all that work, why not swap in a 4.0? Looking good so far though

 

I have a 4.0 in another jeep... I like the 2.5 also for this project , i drive a 2.5 every day for the past 2yrs 42 miles in another rigg , 5 days a week... thats why and thanks.

 

I am mid way through an ax-15 swap in my 2 door cherokee. Very easy so far, but I have an entire donor vehicle.

Had time! Sparyed it. Yes i sprayed it. I have done fabric on other rig and decided this route.. turned out pretty decent.

Lol, i posted this in another thread as far as the mounting situation. I will keep working on this build thread amd my youtube vids here and there. Thanks.

 

Those were the isolators i put in those mount perches. They were diesel mount preches .. yup kinda interesting , but they used diesel mounts on xjs for gas engines in 2000 and possibly other years at least for the 2 dr
