What was your impression of the Victory bumper and how were the tie in points? I haven't been able to find much info on them

I actually had the very first one and they are still fairly new so there's not much out there. The tie in points are solid. Pretty much the exact same as the JCR tie ins. Build quality was very nice. The modular aspect made it more of a hassle to put together, but that's also one of the positives - being able to buy according to your needs/budget. That said, the JCR Vanguard is a "nicer" bumper. Just much cleaner overall. I may have said this before but JCR and Victory are essentially the exact same company. Victory bumpers are made under the same roof and with the same equipment as the JCR bumpers. Same quality as JCR just without the frills like provisions for LED cubes or smoothed welds. I've talked to several that went with a Victory bumper for their XJ and haven't heard of a single complaint yet. If you decide you want to give it a go then give them a call and tell them you saw it on Jeepology. Brandon doesn't work there anymore, but Corey may still give you a little hookup

Right on! good to hear. I ordered just the bumper through a local shop because they quoted shipping at 160$.

Gotcha, that makes sense though. You'll like it for sure pending your goals and what you ordered. You ordered just the bumper as a stubby? The tie ins for the basic stubby only are just your basic mounting points, but that should be fine if you are not running a winch or yanking on it for recovery yet

Sweet man! That house is pretty damn sweet too! Plus it looks great with the XJ in front!

When can we expect an update on everything?

Well I haven't got a whole lot more done, but I'll be hitting it hard again this weekend. I did get the 3 link and stiffeners installed so I'll make a post on that probably this weekend as well.

Ill be putting my winch behind the bumper. I kinda figured it didnt come with the addition tie ins. Guess ill have to make them. Im not paying over 100$ for theirs.

Congrats on the new pad, man, looks killer.

What's the impression with the Cav Fab 3 link? I finally got my RK done, and I absolutely LOVE it.
