Project Khaos. A tale of a 00 XJ
Well it's the end for me boys. I left the XJ at the shop over Thanksgiving weekend.............returned to no XJ. Called my boss to see if it was a joke, no, called the local tow shops, nope. Got a phone call from the police.....
It was found on some local trails, drivetrain is all tore to hell, left it sitting on cinderblocks, no more 35's, head unit tore out, front bumper taken off, and all my camping gear, trail supplies taken from the hatch. I'm awaiting another call from the insurance company. I wanted to restart but not this way. It makes me sick to know that I spent months and months and several tries to build this thing right and it took maybe a matter of hours to be completely tore apart.

oh man, sorry to hear but hopefully you'll start a new thread with a new ride...keep us posted. Any idea what insurance will cover? Do they cover any extras like your camping gear, tires and other ad ons?
No, not likely. But I just ordered some stuff from your site for a customers vehicle. Great experiance, and super fast shipping

Every trail and ride gone by equalled more and more scratches and dents on the rig. So...being factory black Flatblack had to be the new color. My wife chose OD Green for the accent peices and side panels.

My wife was onboard with this and hopped in head first. She loved sandind and taping but didnt want the responsibility if the paint got messed up. Either way, Great bonding experience.
