Just re-read through my build log and noticed that I completely skipped over your comment. *facepalm* Sorry about that.
Yeah. I got it off of ebay and got it for a decent price. Probably overpaid a little, but it was a red two door 4.0 I6 4x4 Gen II body style (which were the things I was looking for) and it was local so I can't really complain. The "stock" picture I posted in my first post was shamelessly stolen from the listing.

The whole point of this project is to do everything right from the beginning and not to skimp on quality parts just to save a few bucks. Granted, that doesn't mean that I won't look for a good deal on something or get something else that is cheaper but still high quality. Lol.
I took a test drive video, but I'm not going to post it because it's kinda boring and my idle speed was around 2000 rpm... My dad and I think that the problem is that we didn't tighten the hose clamps on the supercharger recirc valve... Derp. *facepalm*
Also got a Check Engine light because of it. XD
I'll take a better video and post it after I wire in the AEM F/IC 6 and tune it so I can go into boost.

Yup. A hole that was drilled and tapped into the intake manifold was lacking a plug... Added a plug and she's idling perrrrfectly. Originally Posted by CobraMarty

Mah fogslightz. (Almost done wiring them in!
) The rain is so not helping when I have to do electrical wiring. >.<On a side note, My horns are EXTREMELY loud without the endcaps (found this out when I honked someone who had absolutely no clue about who had the right of way. Which was me [who had the right of way]).

I'm not sleepy and I'm bored which can only mean one thing.. MORE PICS!!!!!!!!!
Here's what I've been up to on this rainy day.

Couldn't finish wiring up the fogs because everything was wet and it was drizzling... So I decided to work on another project.

The unsuspecting LED light about to be cut open... I eventually changed how I was holding them because I kinda cut through the electrical tape...
Just ended up clamping them how the wood is clamped.

Whoops.

Diamond coated metal cutting discs. Much better.

MUHWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Open. YAY!!!
Probably a good time to see if they still work..

THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!

And that is what they looked like when I decided to stop taking pictures (but I kept working on them and finished the pair
).
Now I just gotta install them and wire them in.

Rubicon Express trackbar kit just got here. All I have to say is one word. BEEF!!!!!!!!
The welds on the upper bracket are just ridiculously smooth.
Now I can replace the Rough Country trackbar since it has some lateral play in the joint that mounts to the frame which I'm not too keen on. Who knows. Maybe the RE one will make my XJ track better and have better road manners. If all else fails, at least it strengthens the front frame rails.

Oh yeah. The Spectre cowl induction kit came too. Piping was smaller than I expected... Might be a problem with my supercharger.
Here are some random pics of my current lighting setup. Still have to put the bulbar and 100w hellas back on. Those projectors with the 55w ballasts are BRIGHT!!!!! Drove at night with them the other day and I honestly think they're brighter than the projectors on my other car. Lol.

I need to build a rectifier to power the LED light that I put in the blinker housing because the wires going to this bulb switch polarity depending on whether the running lights are on or not. Right now, I only have blinkers when the running lights are on.

I might swap out my projector bulbs for 6000k ones soon. I'm not really diggin the color of the 4300k bulbs when they're powered by 55w ballasts.

My cellphone can actually take decent pictures. Who'd have thunk. Lol.

And, because I said I would, here is the comparison shot between the projectors on my Jeep and the projectors (oem) on my other car. (they are both on high beam)

Excellent work man!!!
I dont know if I missed it or what, but could you direct me to a link for the led marker lights and the projector headlight housings?
I bought some "projector" housing off of ebay and they throw light everywhere!
Horrible trash!

I have no clue. Lol. It came with the Jeep. I've seen a few before on other Cherokees, but I can't find a single word on the thing...

I made them myself. Lol. The projectors are from China (
) and they seem pretty high quality. The "housing" is a Rampage H4 conversion housing. These are legit projectors just like the ones you'd find in BMWs.As for the LED blinkers, I used cheapo "made in Taiwan" blinker housings and some not so cheap 15 mode Whelen LED warning lights (can only use "steady on" on the street) and just went at them with the dremel. The only thing left to do on them is add some rectifiers so they work with the running lights off.

thats cool.
I want to do an led conversion on my turn signals and side markers.
Yours look good.

Best bet is to buy some LED bulbs off of ebay and use those. My method was rather... involved and expensive... Originally Posted by TheycallmeSDZ

Got my Prosport boost/vac gauge and intercooler temp gauge (using it to measure temp pre and post supercharger) wired in and working. Sorry, no pics yet.
I'm hoping to wire in the AEM tomorrow (probably just the harness and use the bypass that they supplied), put my brush guard back on, put the hellas back on, and... Idk what else. Either get some more work done on my hitch mounted snow plow or try and street tune the AEM (since my plan to take it to a tuner kinda fell through
).
All I know is that I WANT TO GO INTO BOOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a side note, my Shelby Mustang GT500 hood scoop arrived today. Just gotta go to the junkyard and get a hood so I can practice on it. Lol. Doesn't look too shabby sitting there. Although, I think it will look much better painted satin black.
