My dad ordered a winch for it so I got the task of putting it on the new Jeep... That winch was surprisingly heavy.

And this is what happens when you use a ratchet to undo the positive battery terminal and let it touch something that is grounded...

Covered.

Okay... Back to my XJ. Got the meth (washer fluid) injection installed and working. My charge temp is now down to a more reasonable # under boost. Still might look into adding a 25 shot of nitrous right after the filter element to cool the temps even more (since I'm running on the rich side under boost).

You can just barely see where the meth nozzle enters the inlet side of the supercharger.

Not much to update...

Went to get groceries (chinese food) with my dad after we picked his Jeep up from having its brakes done (my red xj on the right and his red xj on the left) and I saw a "stock" xj so I had to try and park as close as I possibly could to it. Lol. It had a nice sounding exhaust system on it (not sure what brand).

And I finally got around to putting my "supercharged" decal/sticker on. Matches the color and font of the "4.0" quite well.

Might be getting TNT long arms in the somewhat near future...

Wonder how the 4.0 would take to a turbo. I def couldnt buy a super charger but i can come across turbos pretty regular in my line of work. Not to mention i could prob make my own plumbing. You might have me on to something here my friend lol.

Haha!! It would take to a turbo just fine (there have been several variations on turbo 4.0s). These engines really seem to like boost.

I'm actually going to turn up the boost on mine a little bit (bought 2 smaller pulleys, 2.25" & 2"). The 2" pulley will probably put me at about 8 lbs of boost which makes me a bit nervous because I don't think the stock head gasket will be able to handle that much boost....

Here's something interesting. Absolute monster. Lol.

Check out my build, I ran 8psi fine, and with just a Chinese turbo and homemade manifold. Stock head can handle 13psi

Definitely sub'd.. I've been watching for ages for cheap LED headlights.. I'm beyond jealous. And you're ridiculously lucky that your parents will help you pay for stuff, I'm running purely on my minimum wage budget!

I'm still nervous about running that much boost on a stock motor. Boostwerks is now running an upgraded head gasket... I think I'll wait till a forged 4.0 is in the budget before I go crazy with the boost (which I intend to in a few years).

I don't want to blow my motor JUST yet. Lol.

Thanks!!

Yeah... My dad found such a good deal on the TruckLites that I have. If it wasn't for that, I probably would have had to make my own. LOL.

I am in love with LEDs (which is why I made my own LED blinkers). I might eventually upgrade my fogs to LED (DIY) using some 3w LEDs from Sparkfun Electronics... And then maybe upgrade my cheapo HF fogs to LEDs. I kinda wanna go LED crazy...

You're lucky your parents will help you out on stuff like that... Mine can't afford it, and frankly, they don't want to. Haha.

With 3.55 gears, 32" MTRs and several hundred pounds of armour, it's not a 0-60 kind of car.

My 3.55 gears are killing me. Lol. Maybe after I get 4.56s... Which probably won't be for a while since getting long arms is a higher priority.

I'll make sure I get a couple vids of some sort when I go to Rausch Creek at the end of the month for Rocktoberfest.

Hey. If I get a rear locker or LSD soon, I'll make a burnout video.

Really? I would've thought the supercharger would make enough power to overcome the 3.55s.... Ok, if you say so, I'll be waiting
Still loving your build!

n/a 4.56 vs. s/c 3.55 will be pretty even off the line, but once the supercharged one gets going it just takes off and leaves the n/a in the dust. Lol.
