I cant wait to hit ks rocks again. Trying to save my $/keep the xj as a reliable dd so I didnt lift it (YET), however did just order a set of bridgestone at revo 2's (235-75-15), should be enough to climb a hill or two We commented on the same post on fb, I recognized your profile pic!

I was rolling in a red 87' yj with 33s, sold it a month ago to buy my xj however. Give you a hint on the post, "greaserama."

Well finally got my full size spare tire, now I just need to find a roof rack or a swing out spare tire carrier!

I'm thinking of taking the spare from inside and either throwing on top when wheeling or in back of friends bronco when wheeling for extra space in back.

It does open up a lot more room. Here's the new spare, I'll put a pic up of how I have it later tonight.

Thanks, it is a matching spare and what kills me is I bought the 4 tires with 100 miles on them so like brand new for $100 total! And this one cost me 268

How hard was it to cut and fold the rear, i need to do mine. The flares are off, just not sure how to do it

Wasn't hard at all, just time consuming. And I did a lot more cuts than was needed. You just need to cut between the pinch weld marks an then fold the fender up, but it's going to take some nice blows with a heavy hammer

Do you have any pics of when you were working on it? How high up the fender did you cut? It looks to me like about an 1" to 1.5"
