Why did you use roll on paint??

I kinda like the texture!

lol actually me and my buddy who helped me paint this both have paint sprayers......we just wanted to see how using a roller would turn out.....its really thick and textured, but it is therefore drying really slow, we found out that even though the top is bone dry, underneath it is still kinda moist.....i probably wont roll on another paint job any time soon

they are upside down to keep water and stuff out of the engine compartment because this spends all winter outside because the cows are in the barn then....the idea was for them to function like a cowl induction hood.....they are mainly to let heat out not air in.....cuz the 4.0 likes to run a little warm

ok so yesterday my bother was messing around with the grizz and noticed the hood latch cable was getting pretty weak, so we decided to make some hood pins

they are just bolts and wingnuts.....they work pretty good, we added the cleats to use as handles, and so the jeep can be used as a mobile dock lol

That's a cool way to fix the hood cable! Just don't go using those tow points, for the love of God!

ok so we are going in a new direction because i got a screamin deal on a 29-spline C8.25 with 4.56 gears and a full spool already installed. so no more lincoln locking the rear and 31's......the new plan is swap in the new rear, then throw some 4.56s and an aussie up front, trim real heavy, bump stop it and throw some 33's on there

Hey RedZ-, glad to hear the Griz project is still going forward. Hope to see some of those photos of the progress. My suggestion for the project is "trim heavily, and Super Swampers!" zim

WOW that paint came out great. I like it. It looks nice and textured....and fuzzy, like a warm blanket. Id suggest some nice aggresive rubber now and get some nasty muddy pics
