KFX (DoubleTapXJ or whatever you go by), I've been meaning to reply to you for a while. I CANNOT overemphasise how awesome that sub sounds! Here's a quick shot of the install. I have to get a longer screw for that top trim piece....
Here's the workhorses, my ARB Compressor and 1000 Watt AC Power Inverter.

A shot of everything cleaned out (for once) after a camping trip. I usually at least keep my field toolbag and straps/winch accessories back there. I've also hidden away a plug for my ARB Fridge under the AC Power Inverter.

And.... My cherokee bullying a stock one in the local parking lot... I couldn't resist. Nothing against stock XJ's though
pics of those seats!!! lol its so hard to find the rugged ridge seats mounted. which model did you get exactly if you dont mind me asking? and hows the material hold up to getting dirty and cleaning?

So here's a quick bit of updating:
My week has been a mixture of running wires, biting my tongue, installing speakers, nearly throwing my back out, and installing a permanent mount for my 1kw AC inverter (which used to just sit under my drivers seat).
Ugly wiring hanging out of my ceiling:
Attachment 109195
Rear panel torn apart:
Attachment 109196
Speaker comparison (new 6 3/4 on right, old 5 1/4 on left)
Attachment 109197
Old 5 1/4 inch speakers back - to be posted for sale soon:
Attachment 109198
Roof rack cable rolled up on roof, awaiting rack tomorrow afternoon:

None at all, just make sure the depth isn't too much for the stock location in the front. The speakers I bought fit like they were made for the application, but you can tell that they are bigger by their sound and heft!

Retail is somewhere around $2400, but I spent about $1500 on it I believe. Much better than buying four big halogens or some HID globes for the same price. and the lower profile cuts down on my wind resistance, hence I still see 16 MPG out of this thing on a regular basis.

It's been a while since I updated my thread, but I've made some interesting purchases recently and can't wait to bolt them on. Namely a Hesco supercharger, steel rear quarter panels/taillights, and other such goodies
.
Another update soon!
