Project Ghost, the zombies will never see her coming...
Well I can finally call myself a jeep member
I bought over the weekend in tampa, fl a 1988 cherokee, 5 speed, 4x4 with close to 160, 000 miles on it... what it came with is what grabbed my attention; a roof rack, fender flares, rear bumper with reciever and a tire carrier, a front bumper ( not sure what kind or how to explain it), 33 mickey thompsons as well as the spare is a 33... and rims... not sure if there steel or what brand but ill get back to you guys on it...
The drive was crazy... a friend of mine drove from miami to tampa... got it and I drove the cherokee back, used it for a couple days more and it drives awesome... it does have its problems but that's what a bulid is for its gonna be my zombie killer
Ill post some pics soon... as well as what will be worked on first....

Nice!! You have now contracted the XJ syndrome. You will involuntarily dump tons of money into your XJ and you will not be able to stop. You will never have a completed project and about everything you do will involve your XJ in some way.
Looks like you have a good starting point, ready to see where it goes! Subbed

Well guys...
Today was a harder day of sweat and figuring out what is important or not... or at least what i thought was... i took the cherokee out for a spin to get somethings from my storage and i noticed the guages dont work at all -.- great!
So i started to try to figure it out... i noticed the previous owner had wires in the car that were sub woofer material, along with switches that were direct to the battery and to a make believe ground... i must have taken out like 2 or 3 pounds of wires....
Using the haynes manual book, i have the wires that im going to keep, now its the mission of seeing which ones are what and figure out why my tail lights or turn signals dont work either....
