went wheeling yesterday, just some narrow trails with dead trees and mud pits. im not normally a big mud guy, but it was fun

i guess i should post some pics of the front bumper ive been working on.
made from 3/16", 1/4, and 3/8" plate.
the frame mounts are 1/4" and use 5 boltholes for each side, the d ring tabs are connected to the mounts and to the 1/4 box tubing i have running in the center.
its not done yet, i still need to build the outside pieces and cut some pieces off. the last picture will show how it should look. (also adding a 2" flush mount reciever in the center)








heres how i will eventually have it. the red pieces get cut off and the blue is what im adding.

and kind of a cardboard mockup to get the dimensions i need.

Good. God. I love your jeep!!! As soon as i get my funds up and i acquire another XJ, i will have essentially the same exact set up. I'm really diggin the front bumper and the sides your gonna put on. How do you like the 4.10's with the 35's? Also, where do you work?
