And moving on with some other pics I have. Here are some shots of the new Optima and winch relays.
Also added a couple extra relays to control aux lighting in the near future.
Here is a shot showing the switch for the winch. Its on the side of the console by the e brake handle and I am toying with a panel to replace the ashtray.
I ran new 1/0g welding cable for the new battery and out to the winch.
The next couple pics show my welding the tubes to the center section on my 8.8 and the cowl air intake I ran. Compliments of Eric's XJ.

Starting to work on my HP60
So I found this gem in the local scrap yard. It's a HP60 from a 78/79 Ford 1ton Snowfighter. Picked it up and brought it home. I'll be narrowing it and stuffing it under the Heep.
It is in Great shape. Even the hubs still work! Got all the old brackets removed and now I'm working on how much I want to narrow it.

Finally... Back to work.
So after being completely broke for the last few months I have finally got back to working on the XJ. I have the front 60 clean of all the old brackets and the tubes cut down to length. I am narrowing it to match the Corp. 14B I have for the rear. 67.5" WMS to WMS. The brackets I am using for the front came from Ballistic Fab. I will be using an upper mount from Rustys. Here are some pics of the front at the moment.
Next I am removing the left over tube from the inner C and pressing them back on. I'll re-gear to either 4.88 or 5.13
Here is the link to the shave kit for the 14B.
http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/...it_p_1728.html
And a link to PBB on the install.

Now... Who wants to buy my truck or a sweet drum set so I can get back to work on this.

Today I got the left over axle tube pressed out of the inner C's. Now I can clean them up and get them ready to go back on the D60. Need to order a few parts next week.
And at least my employer doesn't mind my crap being stuffed under my bench during the day.

Ordered my shave kit and gears today! Also some unibody stiffeners, disk brake brackets for the 14bolt and new hangers and shackles to run 63" chevy leafs in the rear. Hope it all shows up this week!

Here is some more progress I made this weekend. Got almost all the front susp. brackets welded on as well as the inner knuckles.
Also received my gears and install kit and frame stiffeners. My upper mount bracket for the front axle from Rustys came as well. Still waiting on the Shave Kit and brackets for the rear axle. I'll be running 3/4 ton Chevy brakes on all for corners.

Shave kit arrived Monday and got all the new brackets for new leaf spring mounts out back. Also received my brackets to run 3/4 ton chevy calipers on a ford D60 front axle. Starting the shave this weekend if plans stay the same.
