true, would have been better to have the cage done before, but now caging it will be a less frustrating task

So haven't been on in a while. Got laid off from work and counting down the days till my baby girl is here. Few updates for my build. Got some fenders(already cut) and found a np242 tc for $50. Pulled out the weak 207 today and mated the 242 to my ax5 (yes, I know very weak trans. But very very tight budget now) making some good headway i think

Lol, thanks man. Yeah I am going to be going ***** to the wall on it within my unemployed budget. Would have swapped in my rear end but krustys just had to make their leaf springs so effing special and require you to buy their bushings. Should have the rear end installed next week or so.

Transmission washed and painted. Waiting on my bushings from krustys and decided to go with Serious offroad long arm kit. Also trying to figure out which axle I need to complete the driveline

Update... well rustys seems to suck more, it took 2 weeks to receive my parts from them just to only.find out they are the wrong ones(they gave me the wrong PN). Sent those back and ordered the correct bushings for their springs, think I might find a shop to custom make me some or make my own when I go back to work. My fiancee had our baby girl on 7/13/16. Also snatched up some outer axle seals for my front. Finished the rear disc conversion on the 8.25 and going to start looking into thw WJ knuckle/brake swap. Will post up some pictures of the rear axle with the brake conversion mounted.

Afterabout 4 hours of sweating ***** and making multiple runs to the hardware store for bolts I got my 8.25 and rustys leaf springs in. Decided to run 9/16" u bolts with my ruffstuff plates. Took out 2 of the lower springs to help keep it civil

Nice the dr z shackle boxs look good installed bro. I think I'll be on the hunt for a 8.25 29 spline so. But can't seem to blow up the d35 with 35's. Maybe I can now since I got some of my problems fix. Lol

Lol, the turdy five can sure take a beating though. I have the 27 spline 8.25 but will upgrade to the 29 at a later point. Cant wait to start working again and get this thing done. Ive been itching to take it out and play with it

Got the axle shafts back in, got my diff cover on and a lube locker sealing it up. Rear end is now back sitting on tires. Got to get some brake hard lines and new hoses along with some other stuff. Gotta save up my pennies and get my long arm kit.
