Hi all decided to do a build thread don't expect nothing crazy as its my daily driver and I am not a mechanic nor an experienced off-roader i get all the off-roading out of the way with my boyfriend mcguyver_xj who got me into Jeeps and found me my baby which seemed like destiny when I got it...cheesy yes but true...Pics when it came home:


1999 Jeep Cherokee SE
-2 door 4.0, AW4, hp30, dont know rear axle yet bf hasn't checked, 199k original miles boughten from original owners technically...
All she needs is an oil pan cuase its crusty, steering gearbox cause its sloppy, and a passenger floor pan cause theres a small spot...only rust on the jeep is small soft spots on rear quarters but the rockers and everything is solid and needs driver hinge pins...

 

first things first re-paint grille and bumper caps and get fender flares off...need new rear bumper caps cause ones dented and other broke...



then started the spending spree my bf wanted me to see at night so i ordered IPF h4 housings and Hella 55/60W blue bulbs, then a jeep buddy of ours had a spare oil pan which he gave us, ordered floor pan, got seat covers and stuff to put in an aftermarket cd player when i get one, new steering box and lines and a JCR steering box spacer cause apparently stock ones like to break...

put in the H4 headlights and cut bumper caps. pics in a few when i go to leave to insure her! hopefully my insurance company will go to the registry for me lol ill let you know!

I'll do a little update for her... I spent all day getting filthy and sweaty doing the oil pan on it and its something i never want to do again...ohh also it got a passing inspection sticker this morning so she can drive it just got to do the steering box and floors then just maintenance...

 

haven't seen much need for an update but she is at a friend's shop getting the floors re-done buying metal tomorrow and etc...finally got all the steering stuff in so as soon as it comes back my bf is putting that in and i can drive her...

My gf also love 2 dr anything, she has an old Camaro and a accord coupe.

 

Thanks I loved the two door look becaude I feel its smaller for some reason though it s not and I dont use the back doors so why bother u know? Its my baby I cant wait to get it back but two doors are not good to wheel already saw cracks forming from the pervious ownwer but o well.

long time no update still waiting for my jeeps floors to get done but got some updates:
my boyfriend took his new trailer hitch off his cherokee cause he doesn't need it or use it so its going to go on mine because mine will be the street driven aggressive parts hauler...then he changed his muffler and put on a turndown so got rid of his Dynomax cat-back so that can go on my jeep as well cause the stock exhaust is kinda rusty...and finally he bought me a nice set of rims off of Clayton3854 since he got new ones:

when you puttin my old rims on girly!! the black on reds gonna look so good. maybe even better then steves as yours is a two door.

 

Haha thanks well id put them on if I had it! But steve told me beezas done with my floors hes doing the hindges today so tonight or tomorrow shell b in my possesion again then the rims will go on.
Once we get it work is gonna get done like the steering box,tune up and the rims ill see if he could switch em at his work this week or next. Dont worry theyll b on soon though. Ull see when I get it pics will come up everywhere!
