well Lift kit is installed ... look longer than originally planned but went pretty smooth... no broken bolts or anything. But also replaced all the sway bar bushings as they were beyond shot (I think that was causing the violent vibration I was getting at 55) Also replace the front brakes and rotors and serviced the front Dif and installed the Solid Diff cover ... Still have to do the rear and service the xfer case and transmission. it just got really late and got really tired.. lol

anyway a few pics:

Test fit of the rim and tire w/o lift:

didn't take pics after that as i got to a point that I just wanted to get done so I can offer finished product pics ... lol

Now for next things to be done:

Light Bar needs to be wired up:
Rear Diff needs to be serviced and cover replaced.
Trans Filter & Gasket
Engine Valve cover replacement
Snorkal install
Complete speaker replacement
Fix other leaks and drips.

Haven't Updated in a little bit been pretty much dealing with getting the Gremlins out of the Jeep so to speak. Now have both Diffs Serviced and new covers installed, and also serviced the Transfer Case. Developed a new problem with the ABS I'm working on getting figured out / squared away. The Current Punch List on it is as follows:

-Replace Valve Cover Gasket.
-Replace Oil Drain Plug Gasket
-Service Trans & Replace Filter & Gasket
-Take the Rockford Fosgate 6x9's and 5 1/4 Speakers out of my GTP (being Parted Out) and make them work in the Jeep.
-Alignment
-Install Snorkel
-Wire up Roof Lights
-Fix ABS / Brake System

No pics but due to the PO having the wrong battery in it the Tray was broken and holddown was missing... so I got a new tray .. and as the battery is too tall and the stock holddown wouldn't fit I made my own quicky Hold Down will get pics of that soon...

Also Finally Replaced both Door speakers with a set of newer Pioneers I scored at the JY out of a 97+ soundbar. as well as replaced the tailgate Speakers with a set of Rockford Fosgate Power's I had originally in my GTP.

Also, washed it and retook the picture of the CB so people can stop making fun of the old floormats.

Ran into a Issue today was getting ready to pressure bleed the system and found both rear bleeder screws snapped off.. I know a brake line was replaced by the PO so I think the "mechanic" did the line was going to bleed the brakes and snapped the bleeders and never fully bled the system ...thus the ABS issue ... so it looks like I'm gonna be overhauling the rear drum brakes and probably lines.

OK today was eventful but didn't get as much done as I wanted .... however I started the removal of the Bendix 9 ABS system.

Starting pic

Donor Master Cylinder and Brake booster out of a 1996 Cherokee..

First thing I went after the pump .... Which is located under the Coolant res bracket.

after that was out I got all the crossovers from the pump to ABS manifold out of the truck.

Then it was time to get the Master Cylinder, and ABS Manifold out:

Would of been really easy to do the DS shock lol but they are new lol

Had to do some modifications to the pushrod of the new booster to accept the bushing for the stoplight switch and had to flatten out the end.

No more pics but mounted up the booster and Master Cylinder tightened up the 4 bolts and hooked the brake pedal back up ... and started to connect lines .... It got dark and I still have one line to do and need to put the air cleaner and washer bottle back in... then I have to replace the rear wheel cylinders and then hopefully will be ready to bleed the system ...

OK so finished plumbing up the lines .... and now have a few issues to fix.

1-Factory Washer Bottle does not fit in its original spot ...
2-Brake Lights and Brake shifter lock out not working ....

So I hope to bleed out the system tomorrow and get the brake lights working this week then I will be in good shape.

OK haven't Posted in a little bit. The Cherokee got back on the Road on Friday had to replace the rear wheel cylinders and axle brake lines. and due to work being crazy I really didn't get a chance to do anything until then.

However Saturday took the Cherokee to show it in the Jeeps in the Vineyard show in Shamong, NJ and on the way up there started to leak alot of oil down the pass side of the engine. think its time to change the valve cover... however despite that still got to show it and did a little bit of off roading with some of the other members of the Tri-State Mudcats afterwards.

some pics from this weekend:
