Default Project: Creepin Jeepin

Hey! I know im new here but I thought I would share my very slow build with everyone! First off my name is Ryan, Im in High School half days, Work full-time 6 days a week, and have a loving supportive girlfriend. So my jeep time is limited but that doesnt really stop me from moving foward! You know what else is limited? Me!! I have a condition called AMC (Cool name atleast) since birth so I am not as strong as most people muscle wise in the lower and upper arms so this slows my process even more This is my 4th jeep (3 previous xj's and one wj)... This is by far my favorite though!! Its a 99 Cherokee Sport 4.0 of course, With a AX-15 5spd...

Bought in July 2016

Pros:
Buckshot ll tires with 75 percent tread!
Clean interior
Sticker on Tcase where it was rebult
No mechanical flaws besides the AC/heat blower
Shifts smooth
Minimal rust underneath very clean

Bad:

Few small rust spots on body (2 spots)
Hood latch broke
Drivers door handle is broke (can get in but not out, No handle inside)
Needs drivers side window regulator (stuck down)
No headliner
Blower on ac/heat does not work
REAR LEAFS ARE DANGEROUSLY SHOT

Let the build begin!!

When I first bought it

Default CB Install

Yes I know its not the best choice for a first upgrade considering the "more needed parts" but hey I had a few hours of free time and a spare CB w/5ft firestick antenna that was brand new that I bought a few weeks ago for the build! Install went smooth! Thats a first! Besides driving all over Columbus looking for an adapter... ughhhh. Found it at a Pilot Truck Stop though Its the silver one pictured right under the mount and washer.

I know every Jeep is different, but I have a 4 1/2" RE with no TC drop kit, and no vibes. That being said, I have a SYE sitting in the garage waiting for me to install it.

Loving the 2 door! Ours are twins for the most part. I've been considering the cable upgrade, let me know how you like them. Keep up the great work man

I will for sure! im sure after 220,000k my battery cables could use an update! Plus the 150amp alty might be a little strong for stock wires. xjwonders is offering 20% off right now if your in the market for a set. $80 shipped is what I got mine for.. I checked out your build and i'm loving it! Keep us updated!! Im hoping I dont have to do a swap that large anytime soon.. Fingers crossed If parts are still available on your donor I might PM you soon on a few things! Thank you for reading!

Got some stuff done sunday with my buddy Rusty! Well we tried... Went to pick n pull to get a hood latch and got one for 6 bucks Then got home, installed it, then pulled it to open the hood.. SNAP it broke So for now ill use plyers till I get a new latch... Then I started on the front springs with Rusty. PO had keyed lug nuts and I didn't know the key was in the glovebox till 2 hours of cussing and using a regular socket and airgun. Finally we got the front wheels off. Now i've hit a brick wall. We followed Bleepin Jeeps instructions to the T but the axle still won't drop to get the front springs out! Im about to just go get a spring compresser because Ive tried everything that I know of. Ill post a pic in a second.. But on the bright side, I recived the Cree headlights and Ill install in the morning
