Atmos. The 1" would be nice for racks, light bars, and other projects. However, the 1.5 inch is what the kits that are available use. But luckily I haven't purchased the dies and stuff yet so I will go with the recommended 1.75". As far as getting a plasma - I doubt I ever will as I have grinders and oxy/acetylene.

Do you use the notcher much? I figured I would use the wrap looking things and a grinder.

Wow! The bender adds up quick.

JD2 = $1005 to my freight forwarder and then still need to add the notcher for another 275.

Trick Tools - JMR - RaceLine Bender/Notcher Fab Pack = $1088 WITH the Notcher.

I'll still have another 70ish dollars for the freight forwarder into Alaska.

you could try with the grinder first and buy a notcher later if you feel the need. I know that a nice notcher vs trying to do it by hand definitely saves on frustration. I'm tempted to sell/return this one and build my own jig for notching
