Thanks guys, going to look at one in new york next weekend. Low mileage no rust and its already lifted. Hopefully it'll pan out and i can get back on the trails

Okay soo i spent the passed 3 weeks looking at wranglers, cherokees, and some turbo diesel f250s. Finally found one that met my standards/price range.

1994 Cherokee

"Rustys 4.5 lift, 33x12.5 BFGoodrich tires, Full size spare, Warn rear bumper with tire carrier, Bushwacker cut out fender flares, new floor pans that are herculined, Tom Woods custom drive shaft, Slip yoke eliminator, JKS front swaybar quick disconnects Also have JKS bar pin eliminators for front and rear not installed, Rustys throttle body spacer, K&N air intake, Flowmaster exhaust, Rustys tie rod conversion, added steering stabilizer, Rusty frame strengthener, Rustys HD trac-bar and mount , grill inserts, new radiator, new front hub bearing assembly both sides, just put royal purple in front and rear diff and tranny"

Plans for the jeep include the following:

Basic maintenance-Oil change
Antifreeze flush
Cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires
Adjusting tcase linkage
Brake pads/rotors
Replace burnt out bulbs
Power wash/degrease engine bay

As for the fun stuff:
Winch bumper
Warn 10k winch
Detours A-pillar light mounts
KC 130w Daylighters
Painting it Satin Black
Rear Locker
DIY Beadlocks
Detours Sliders
Shackle relocation
Stereo system

Ordering up some Bilstein 5100's, a new steering stabilizer, installing those bar pin eliminators, and a rear disc brake conversion

Soo i was pulling out of my driveway this morning and heard a pop, this is what i find. So much for those heavy duty rustys set up

Yeaa pretty much, apparently stripped all the threads out. Had to replace the whole tie rod system. Also found out the upper control arms were shot soo im taking advantage of the down time to do some Clayton long arms

Yep they need to come off, you can drill the spot welds. There a pain to get off.

Holy crap you weren't kidding-4 hours, 3 grinding discs, 3 sawzall blades and a busted knuckle later there off. Oh and it started raining half way through the job-the jeep doesn't fit in the garage hence the umbrella
