Thanks!

What do you all think about me pulling the door trim off? I think it would make the Jeep look a lot better but am worried about the condition of the paint underneath.

all cherokees look better without door trim molding and dont worry about the paint underneath it will look the same maybe a little brighter and if you dont like buy tape and put it back on...but if your serious go to an auto body supply place and get an eraser it will take off the adhesive with ease utilizing a drill...

I might give that a try tomorrow, plan on washing it anyways. I will just try and get some goo-gone or whatever it is to remove adhesive.

I just don't have an auto body supply store anywhere near me where I could get an "eraser".

What exactly is it?

its a big soft rubber wheel and as it takes off adhesive it loses some rubber...you can order them from Keystone and stuff or see if a body shop will sell you one of theirs...

Ended up finding a body eraser at an autobody parts store, spent $15 on it...oh well.

Here comes a wash/wash + remove the door trim. Pictures later.

Well this afternoon the Jeep got some royal treatment. I washed it and was not happy with how many scratches I gained from the last wheeling trip...so I busted out some of the STi detailing tool (Porter Cable dual action polisher w/ a variety of pads/compounds) I ended up just using a medium abrasive polish and then sealing it with some wax but turned out pretty good. Here are some before and after pictures...

Oh and here are some trimless pics....LOOKS GOOD! I didn't expect to like it this much!
