I was going back through your build... I really like the axle work. I understand the D44 and 9", but why a '76 F150? Is that the truck you found, or did you seek it out? Also, how much width was added with full width axles?

Might have been a typo but the axles are 79 f150 supercab axles and it is the heavier duty 44 (leaf sprung) and they added I think like 3" on each side they are not true full width, 60s would be full width but they are enough to make a difference, and thank you for the comps.

Probably it was MY typo. Your work sure gives me some ideas. I'm going to check our local JY for this set up. Not much older stuff around here though. Thanks for the info.

Also received my TnT steering box spacer this thing is sweet I would recommend this to everyone esp if you have a bumper with unibody tie back plates:

Tomorrow going to get the steering box back in and bled, also going to do the west texas pump mod, then going to flush the cooling system and install new: water pump, thermostat, hoses, and champion 3row radiator.

Very sweet work! And very good timing. Thanks for the pictorial. Did you hit any snags? Any special tools? Where did you get the rebuild kit?
