Got my shock tabs all burned out and shocks mounted today burned the axle mounts out of 1/4" plate and made the top mounts with a 3/4" piece of iron pipe:

Looked at the rock ring and just noticed I welded it in wrong so I cut it out and re welded it. Nothing like doing it twice

Got the front flares plated in today took a while to get the templates made and the 16ga. shaved down just right, and also got another rim cleaned up and rock ring welded in. Going to start painting both rear rims tonight

looks good, my only complaint though is that really tall spring perch. why did you go with that?

The perch is 2" over stock wasn't sure what lift I would need because those 63" springs are very flat and it's stronger than blocks for now but I actually think I am going to lower it 2" to get a better cog so those perches will be gone anyway

Wow, looking great.

So what is the 2x6 welded to on the inside. I see that its welded to the angle iron you put on there, but hard to tell what the inside is welded too. I was thinking about doing the same thing but was running into that issue.

It's welded to the floor pans, the cross braces I put in, and it's also welded to the inside of the old rocker when the floor pans meet up you can kinda see it in this picture not the straightest line but I had to cut out the rust:
