Well guys, seeing as I never got to do a proper build on my Xj, I figured I'd do a proper one on my 87 Comanche. Just doing a mild build as this will be driven a lot. For starters, here's the first three pics.Project B.H.V. (OS III)-uploadfromtaptalk1403924477393.jpgProject B.H.V. (OS III)-uploadfromtaptalk1403924492234.jpgProject B.H.V. 87Mj, 2.5L TBI, 4spd, 2wd is how she is currently. This weekend I'm picking up an AX5, NP231 and a D30 w/4.56 gearing that was given to me by the Local Jeep Club for all the repairs, help I've given them with their vehicles. Nice to know that there are still people that dont forget and appreciate what you've done for them. [emoji2][emoji106]

That's how my sending unit looked when I pulled it out the gas tank and smelled horrific because of the old gas...you could be about 20yards away and smell a strong stench....

I have the ax5/231 under my comanche and been driving it almost 3 years with a 4.5" lift and 32s no problems yet...

Found I have 3.55 gears in the rear. That will make it easier to swap my front axle in and run my 235/75r15 ATs untill I can regear both axles. But hey, when my Xj was on a 2" and 235s, it went just about everywhere I needed it to.
