I havent posted anything in a while so i figured i would give a little update. I havent really done any work on it. I did take it on its first weekend wheeling trip. It went alottt farther than i thought it would. I still had some heat soak issues(just ordered some 703's), I smashed the drivers side rocker a little and took off one of the grease fittings on my long arms. All in all, it was an amazing trip. The joints on my steering are starting to get really bad though. I think im gona pick up a UTK kit from serious offroad. Seams to be the best price and has great reviews.

So when i went on my last wheeling trip i left the doors off. It was a 1.5 hour drive on the highway and when i got home, i couldent hear to well from my exhaust being so loud. I really love how it sounded but it was just too loud for a dd. I ended up putting a magnaflow muffler and a walker tailpipe on it. Its sooooooo quiet now! I like that its quiet but i miss how mean it sounded before! Also the turn down on the tailpipe hangs down really low so im gona have to cut it back some.

My radiator also decided to crack yesterday so i had to put a new one in it. I also replaced both upper and lower hoses, and the water pump while i was in there. Should run nice and cool now!

And heres a video of me on my last trip. Theres some muchhh steeper lines. Cant wait to go next time!
My girlfriend wanted me to put a "cool" smiley face on here. haha

Wow... I'm truly inspired by your build thread! I went through your entire thread today, and loved every minute of it. Thanks to you, I've learned a lot!
Moreover, thank you for always being so detailed when you talk about your modifications. Since I am a newbie to the lifting/wheeling world, I've really appreciated that.
In another month, I plan on buying my lift kit. Would you recommend buying the Rough Country kit you got? I pretty much want to end up with the same low cog style setup as you eventually, but funding is slow due working part time...
Correction: I guess my question should've been... Would you buy that same RC lift kit again, or save your money and get something else?
Love your Jeep, and your dog! Keep on having fun out there. Maybe we'll meet up at the trails or events sometime since we're both in the same area(ish)...

As for the lift, i have no complaints. My idea behind it was to buy a cheap kit, wheel it, and then figure out what i have to upgrade. The only thing left from the rough country lift are the shocks, coils and AAL's.
Are you goin to jeeptoberfest? Ill be there.

Went wheeling today. Had a blast! It rained the day before so everything was nice and slick. My dad almost flipped his jk twice and slammed his drivers side door handle into a tree. Then it started to rain and we were sliding all over the place so we called it quits. Oh, and then we drove back in the worse thunder storm ive ever driven in. Everyone was going 35 and the speed limit was 70. 1 lightning bolt hit so close that i could feel the static on my leg hair. It was pretty freaky.
Ive decided that i really want to build a roll cage. I dont like worrying about rolling. Especially at a place like we went. Its all really steep, slick hills and limestone rock.
