Started a project on the black jeep. I didn't finish due to other responsibilities, but I think I can finish later this evening. Here is the gist of what I got accomplished so far. I think you could figure out the project pretty quickly.
Fluid was pretty clean. Someone has been in here in the last few years. (not me)

not sure what that says or means

just cheap brake parts for now to offset the initial cost.

A double build...jelly...yet not jelly either! Haha. I think we did disk brake swaps at almost the exact same time. Nice builds. I'm thinking about trimming fenders and doing a cut and fold soon. Following.

Jeep progress has slowed for a variety of reasons.
1. I had a busy work week, and then took a week of leave because of reason 2.
2. I've been gifted a fixer upper building that I am going to try to convert to a living space with a Jeep shop underneath. Did a ton of cleaning/ clearing out and had some inspections done this week.
3. I might have gotten in a small fight with a chainsaw so now I'm basically useless for a couple weeks
I did finish that stiffener though, and painted it with two coats primer and two coats hammered black.

There were a lot of ways it could have been much worse, but the worst that actually happened is I nicked about an inch of muscle so I had to get 10 stitches on the inside for that, and then 15 on the outside and some creative trimming to pull the skin back together.
The before picture makes it look much worse, the cut was about 3/4-1" wide in the center, but I'll not keep that picture for myself to protect this "family friendly" website. I consider myself very fortunate, considering the alternatives. It seems to be healing pretty quickly as well.
I believe the saying is "measure twice, cut once" not "measure once, cut twice" haha
