Haha what do you need a bumper for?
So i just got my Jeep back from a local shop. Had a crap load of services done.
- Transmission Flushed and filter replaced
- Oil Change
- Radiator flushed
- Steering box replaced
- Alignment done (including adjusting long arms)
- Broken bolt removed from intake manifold (bold that holds throttle body cables)
- Replacement tire mounted and balanced (one of my new MT MTZ had a side wall seperate)
Now that i have it back i have a bunch of stuff to do still
- Install Smittybilt Air compressor
- Replaced belt
- Install my Boston speakers
- Update my for sale post with all the left over stuff
- Get the front windows tinted
- Run a new antenna wire for CB (had to cut my last one, too lazy to remove it all)
- Use my SWR meter to tune my CB antenna
- Locate a new spare tire and get it mounted
- begin looking into lockers/shafts

Love both your Jeep's!
Sorry to hear about your red one but glad you decided to get a Limited Jeep because I currently own a black 2001 Cherokee Limited.
I'm a college kid so I never have that much money to put into my Jeep but I was wondering what size tires you had on your red Jeep when you bought it?
I love those tires with that lift and should be pretty cheap considering I'm on a cheap budget.
Also what does everyone think of the chrome grill on the Limited Cherokee's?
I haven't decided if I like it or not.

My red jeep have 31" BFG ATs. They are some of THE BEST tires i have ever used on a vehicle before. They were good everywhere i took them, even in mud pits.
There are numerous people selling used 3" lifts on here and Jeep Forum that have upped their jeeps higher. You shouldnt have any problem getting to 3/3.5" with 31s on a tight budget.
I actually absolutely LOVE my chrome grill. We did try it on my brothers white classic and it looked crapy so i think it really depends on the color of the car. Probably looks nice on your black Limited.
best of luck and let me know if you ever have any questions!

So decided to head out today to take care of a few things. Brought my trusty side kick who slept the entire time! But by the time I got home I was welcome with 2 new CEL codes. One is for the stupid sensor under the battery and the other is for a bad cat, misfire, vacuum leak, bad o2 sensor, or oil leak into exhaust. Awesome! I'm thinking it might be a bad cat.cause my jeep started running a little ruff today. Any ideas?

Are these the tires specifically?

Just wondering because I hate tires with the white text on them I want them to be all black.
Also where there any spacers on your red Jeep when you had the RE 3.5 inch lift?

There is white lettering on one side and all black on the other. When the tire shop mounts the tires just tell them that you want black letters facing out and white letters facing in. Most shops ask you this before they mount them. If the white bothers you that much, grab a black sharpie and cover it up. After a month or so of driving, especially during winter, all that white will be covered up.
As for as the lift goes, it was a Rubicon Express 3.5" lift. Which consisted of 3.5" front coils, fixed lower control arms, and rear 3.5" full leaf springs. You can always do an "add-a-leaf" to the rear to save some cash. No spacers needed.
