Hey guys My name is Tyler, I'm new to the XJ world after recently getting rid of my 07 JK because it was insanely expensive to take care of and build.
I searched for about 4 weeks until I finally found my "new" jeep that I am calling "beater" because, well, it looked like a beater when I bought it. Especially after jumping out of my luxurious JK
The Jeep is a 92 2 door 4.0 5 speed 171k miles D35 rear Bone Stock $800 It has some rust (drivers side floor panel needs replaced) and the clearcoat is peeling and paint faded.
Runs, needed a tuneup badly, but runs extremely well now
I have short term and long term goals to accomplish.
Short term: 3 inch BB (in mail)
31s (check)
SYE
Paint
Roof rack
Fender chop/custom fenders
Hood Louver
Front bumper
Rock sliders
Cb
Long term:
4.5 inch LA
8.8 rear
4.56 gears
Lockers
Steering overhaul
Complete underbody protection

I picked up a set of 31s yesterday for 200. Around 75% tread and were mounted on teardrop aluminum 6 lug wheels. Scrapped the wheels for 60. Pretty good deal IMO
