Default Ol' Red - The DD (Slow but steady)

Welp, I just received my first paycheck at my new job which means one thing: Mods (as long as I can keep my Ol' Lady out of my pocket )

With that being said, I haven't done much to my rig besides new rims.

This is how she sits

Things I'm wanting to do:
-3" full leaf pack lift - Been looking into a few and doing my research on here, probably will end up going with the Zone, RC, or Rusty's (if shipping isn't insane).
-Brighter headlights (suggestions/write ups would be great!!)
-Nate's front and back bumper
-31" A/T's
-Roof Rack
-Possibly a light bar or some HID lights
-Aftermarket exhaust (any suggestions would be great)

That's as much as I can think of for right now.

I'm very unfamiliar when it comes to working on cars and will be getting as much help from friends as I can. This will definitely be a slow build, but will try to post whenever something is done.

I did the lmctruck upgraded harness from the link below with Ipf housings and silvania ultra 55/60w bulbs. Huge upgrade over stock. The difference is day and night literally Super easy and took about 30 minutes to do it all.

Great Write up

Seen lots of quality and cheap light bars on ebay.

This video shows how Magnaflow exhaust sounds a lot better than stock

Have a close buddy installed Borla performance exhaust installed on his 200 Grand cherokee and he's very pleased. Seen them at low price on Jeep4x4center.com, 4WheelOnline.com and AutoAnything and they match prices anywhere.

Really appreciate you guys sharing!

30 mins doesn't sound bad at all for the install, and the exhaust would be something later on for sure - but definitely gonna look into it.

I also forgot to mention, the jeep is a 96 (obviously), 4.0L, 4x4 (bone stock).

And I wondering if anyone has replaced their antennae, mine won't catch signal?

Check under the glove box near the kick panel. The connection might have come loose.

Currently looking at purchasing an cold air intake - need my gas mileage to get a little better and figured this was a good place to start.

Anyone know of any reasonably priced kits? Anything other than K&N? Links would be great!

Haven't updated this thing in a bit, but I currently made a purchase after talking to askingxforxit and asking some questions: http://performance-curve.com/84-01ch...ailpipe-1.aspx - Decided to start with this cause it'll help out on the MPG - especially since I drive around 25 miles everyday for work.

It's starting to warm up here in Texas, so I'm gonna tint out the windows so I ain't driving in a fish bowl. How much have people paid for tint to be done?

Next up on the list is a 3" lift, been checking into Rusty's, Zone, and RC full leaf kits. I'll definitely be making a decision soon, but may have to wait for the next paycheck. Also, I'm still checking out the essentials for having a nice riding rig (ie. adjustable track bar, shackles, and whatever else?)
