Default Off Road One build

Hello dear citizens!

New to the forum. Just bought 1995 XJ 4x4 l6 AW4 174k miles) for $500. It is going to be my daily driver for now. I have about 1000-1500 to put into it. :-)

Maintenance plans.

Check cooling system.
Changing all fluids and filters. $150?
02 sensor. $30
Replacing differential gaskets with "Lube Lockers" (current ones leak). $50
Full tune-up, disbutor cap, spark plug, wires. $100?
Quality off-road U-joints and Ball joints for front. $200-250
Rear struts for rear hatch. $30
It appears the headers were replaced (new looking gaskets, no cracks in pipes).

$500-600

Upgrades plans:

Quality steering stabilizer. $50
Led head lights w/clean cut off. (Found a pair w/good reviews for $50ish).
Roll bar inside behind driver and passenger seats. $cost of material
Front and rear off-road bumpers $cost of material
Transfer case skid.
30-31inch tires.
Maybe some fender trimming.
Electric fan switch.

Now... for the tough part. I want a 2-3inch lift.
Not some junk AAL or poor riding kit.
Love the sounds of OME products but it seems they are a bit out of my price range unfortunately.
So I'm thinking 2-2-1/2inch OME medium duty spring packs, ZJ (Up Country if I can find them) shocks and front coils. (And new bushings, u-bolts, etc).

All that being said, I have never owned a Jeep before. Advice/recommendations would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Future upgrade ideas:

...taller lift! 3.5-4.5inch
1.5inch OME shackles.
OME or Blistien 5100 shocks.
OME coils.
Black 16inch rims.
Some skids/armor
Full length weld on frame stiffening kit.
5-90's battery cable kit and Optima yellow top battery
300watt inverter.
CB/PA for trails.
HD lower control arms.
Adjustable track bar and bracket.
Quick disconnect swaybar links.
703 injectors.
Possibly roof rack.
Some other things.

Looks like your off to a good start of making jeeps great again.
Kick your toupee off and browse around. lots of good information around here. Good luck staying at 3". All of us have said "naw ill just stick with 3.5 and 31's." XJwonders makes a good set of cables as well and will probably respond quicker. Browse the vendor section for your parts, lots of good deals. OME is good stuff and is worth the price.

5-90 cables are no longer a viable option, he is out of business, and his website is defunct. Go with XJwonders kit.

There's no way you found quality led headlights for $50...you need to go with trucklites or jw's.
