I'm digging this one out of the grave for a moment, Just cause I'm curious how your engine/drivetrain are holding up.
I'm seriously thinking about doing an install like this. Seems like a pretty intense and fun project. Getting a tig welder soon to do all sorts of fab work. Makin all the welds look mighty fine.

Yep he sold this one to get a MJ that he sold a couple weeks later because he missed the 5 spd and he needed more room in the cab. I believe he was looking for an older Toyota extra cab if I remember correctly.

Well haven't been on here in a while! Sold it in the summer to a guy that said it was gonna be a trail rig. Bought a Comanche and sold it for the reasons above^ (thanks joe).engine and drivetrain never gave me ANY problems. Ended up buying a 99 cummins with a built auto trans. Kinda exploring the diesel performance world right now 
definitely see another xj in my future though
