Well since i stretched the rear out, they won't bolt into the original place. So i gotta do like a shock hoop type thing.

Its only a 3" coil. But then where the coil bucket mount is, it sits up another 2"

thats kind of what I was hoping I've got about a 3-4 inch coil and the coil buckets that were on the axles when i got them are shot so i was looking at doing roughly the same as what you did plus then you can get the coils directly under the factory coil bucket.

Do you mean 2" from the factory ford location? Because you're really like 4" or so above the factory Dana 30 location.

On a 30 the coils sit right on top of the axle, plus you have to account for the larger diameter axle tube. If you have a 3" coil, my bet is you're sitting around 7 inches of lift.

You're about the same height as me I bet...

Dylan is sitting on close to 8 or 9 inches and 35's and he's a hair taller than me..

Its 2 and 1/4 inches exactly. They barely clear the arm. And from stock height, its much higher. What im just saying is what ive put on it to lift it, (the coils and bucket) are roughly 5 inches!

Right on, it is still about as low as you can go on 37's for an XJ. Any lower (like mine was when I first did it) sucks bad. I had like 3 inches of up travel was all.
