Thumbs down Need Help!

I'm new to the XJ stuff, but I work two jobs to support my TJ, and I want to build an XJ. I currently have two XJ's in my shop. One is a 1994 2 door sport stock with a blown 2.5, and the other is a 1995 4 door stock with a blown 4.0. I can't decide which one to keep and which to sell. I was wondering what kind of mileage I could expect with both running 32x11.50's because this will be what I drive over 700 miles to college in order to spare my TJ. And if anyone had any suggestions for some low budget upgrades while I have my money tied up in an extra Cherokee right now.

Go with the 2/5 if your looking for mileage. I have had 4 2drs with il6's and 2 where on 31s and 31s. I averaged hwy about 16-17... just depended on how much I buried the throttle.... 8)
But the misses in a stock 4.0 averaged 20-22 hwy and about 18 city.... So it just depends on wht you want. I LOVE the 2drs cuz down here theyre kinda rare. If you see 50 xjs 10 of em might be 2drs.... lol But thats just my Opinion. 8)

But anyways, gl and keep info comin~Paul

So you would go with the 2.5 for looks and the 4.0 for functionality?
