Default My ZJ build.

Got a 96 ZJ 5.2l about a year ago and have been working on it whenever I have the time and money.

It had a springs and spacers only for the lift. Track bar bracket was loose causing a major death wobble and a bunch of other things were wrong. I got if for a steal in my eyes.
First mod was a 231 transfercase

removed the input shaft from the 249 and rewired the dash to show what range I was in. Both stock axles worked.

I welded it back on twice but it kept ripping out of the frame so it was time to install the ford 9" in the rear.

I have 16inch wheels so there the 315/75/16 mud dogs.
So now we put the 9 inch in.

I had a buddy help me and we welded it up and flattened the bottom.

Next was the install and the flex test.

They work great so far but I haven't wheeled them hard yet. The balanced out great and are good on the highway. No complaints so far. When I get the dana 44 up ft and the rockers done I'll let you know how they do.

Thanks! So as I wait for the parts to get here I decided to trim the rockers and pull the rear bumper. I think were gonna build some boat sides.
