my xj build so far on a highschool budget
first bought it august 13th for $2500, its a 99 white cherokee classic, power everything, no body damage just some scratches which are in pretty crazy places, right when u got it i bought floor mats and seat covers. oh the inside was in perfect condition when i bought it. So was working on paying it off before the year was over. Then the fun started. Put in a sony xplod head unit, new sony speakers up front, head unit was $150, speakers were $40. I had to rewire the new front speakers because old wiring sucked. Found a sweet planet audio sub at a pawn shop for $35. I didnt know much about planet audio but its so awesome. Wired that up with a JVC 600 watt amp that sits under the back seat. So that was over a period of about a month or so. Then decided recently to paint my rims black. i've had my lift since may and havent had my cousin help put it in yet but thats ok. I finally decided to put it in with my dad i read enough to know how to. So started painting rims and lift also. The front of the lift was super easy. Its a 2" RE BB. So the back was hell, first the center pin wouldnt unscrew so i was told to take the leaf spring off, so i take the bold out closest to the front first, not good, the bolt wouldnt come out of the bushing. So we had to get our neighbor over to help. so they took off the other part of the leaf spring at the shackle, i eventually got the bolt back in. We ended up cutting the center pin, putting it back together then couldnt get the leaf spring on the shackle. this is at eight thirty at night, so we call a guy we've seen work on jeeps and he says he'll come over to help. what a great guy. he helps get the driver side rear finished. then says we cant leave in unfinished so we do the other side and just cut the center pin. then it all goes back together. The upper shock bolts wouldnt come out so he says bring it by his house tomorrow so i did and it didnt even take thirty mins and we had the shocks off and new ones on. I couldnt of finished without his help. Thanks so much! pics upon request about all of done if any of u are interested. sorry for the long post

I would like to see your aduio set up. I used to work for Rockford Fosgate. I used to build their cometition amps, and we did the install on their H2. I love to see what people put in and how. I am in the process of figuring out where I want to put my two 10s.
