My XJ build
Well I am new to the forums and this is my first thread. Basically I will start off with, I bought this truck a little over 2 months ago(sure people remember it from craigslist that are from my area). I bought it and have been doing my own touch's to it sense. I have till dec till i can drive again..
So I will just post the pictures and you can see how I make it what I want to make it. I was going to buy one and do all the work myself, but I saw this and I seriously fell in love and of course it ended up in my driveway.
Well, lets start my first jeep journey!
What I have done so far sense I have owned it are as follows,
Removed the ugly home made fender flares, "nothing against them, just personal opinion".
Removed all interior plastics and carpet, will post pictures in future.
Started to work the rust from inside out, by replacing anything that needed it. Jeep is now almost complete rust free "for now".
Patched all spots that needed, bondo needed areas also.
Sanded complete jeep
Primed all spots that needed it
Rhino lined about 12 inch's up from the rockers, also did 8 or so inch's underneath.
Painted the compete body
Well, thats it and a nut shell for now folks. If any of you have any ideas or opinions, please feel free to talk. I know what it has, I am not new to the off road trucks, please do not think I have no idea what it has.

you're better off with shackles, or maybe an add a leaf, but if they're already there, might as well keep em haha. good luck with the build man, if you've got any questions I'd be happy to help if I can.

I agree, leave it till it breaks, then it gives me a reason to consider another route. I appreciate all the advice and information.
