Default My Red Duece Coupe

I guess lets start with how I ended up here.
Ever since I was a kid I have always been super big into everything offroad. I have always wanted a cherokee but some how ended up with a couple hunks of crap before I finally got one including: Ford Explorer , 95 Ford F-350 4 speed with granny gear and 351 on 33's (got hit wheelin ), 93 Yota Pickup I was gonna truggy but finally sold for my Cherokee!

SO around mid september I was thinking and said "I'm sick of my awful VW GTI I am finally going to buy a cherokee." I decided I would settle for nothing less than 2 Door Manual with a 4.0 and a Chrystler 8.25. Pretty picky I thought. Well I ended up finding the perfect Jeep within a month.

She is a little rough around the edges but I have slowly cleaned her up. It already has a sagged 4.5 inch lift and 31x10.5r15 BFG Long-craps all stretched out and a full borla exhaust

I started out by taking off the bull bar sanding it completely down buying new hardware and repainting it flat black. Also using oven cleaner on the
rims I cleaned off the YEARS of brake dust that was literally baked on. I also did a little triming on the fender flares.

After the small stuff I ordered Rusty's shims to fix that awful driveline angle and a new u-joint.

Most recently I ordered 33x12.5r15 Goodyear Duratracs and have them all mounted up. Did ALOT of trimming but trying to keep my flares!

Sorry not alot of pics most are on my phone but more will come soon!!!!

Took pictures today of the 33's and my less poopy shaft angle. Had to trim the fenders and tuck some sheet metal on the front but the tires fit pretty well for now until I can get adjustable control arms and push them bad boy's forward.

Clean inside with my new head unit thanks to my lady!

Pulled a crossmember from another xj at the JY the other day sanded it and painted it up along with painting the letters on the new non plastic drop spacers I got thanks to cherokeeaddiction23! And threw some fresh oil and an oversized filter on there.

All I have left is dis. cap plugs and wires and she'll be like new!

Thanks man! Well she's a 96 with 165k and I got er for 1500! I just trimmed maybe 3 inches up off the bottom of the flares on the front and folded in the sheet metal underneath. I took off the little valence under the front bumper and cut the flares even with the milk jugs also.
