My old setup was stock control arms 15x8 3.75bs d windows with 31's and it was close to rubbing the lca's/leafs.. So that's why I'm over thinking it now. Lol

the way i look at it is if i'm running 13.50s on mine w/ no rubbing you should be fine with 12.50s. my 96 rubbed like crazy and they were 12.50s on 15x8s... which is why im so surprised i dont rub now lol

15x10 can easily handle that... A friend of mine is running a 9inch wide rim with 13.50s and another is running 8 on 12.50. So I know it will handle it. I just don't know whether to go 15x10 or 15x8 both with a 3.75 bs just for the look of it. I really like how his sit with the 10's
No I'm saying with a 10" rim and 12.5 tire the rim is so wide that you can pop the bead in on hard offroading conditions

Ok gotcha so your saying that the 15x8 would be the better choice for me since I'm going to be running 12.50

10" wide rim on a 13.50 tire is perfect though

For hard core wheeling yes, a 8" rim is good for a 12.5

Yes for a 13.5 tire a 10 rim is good, a 13.5 tire on a 8 rim would be hard on the tire.

anybody have any experience w/ JcrOffroad? i really am liking these sliders they make http://www.jcroffroad.com/mm5/mercha..._Code=XJ-US-Dx

they would look killer on my jeep painted black. plus they would cover up this ugly *** dent in the bottom of my passenger side rocker

My buddy has a bunch of jcr stuff on his xj not those exact sliders but still. He's more than happy with they're stuff. I'm definitely looking into getting sliders from them a little down the road.

I'm thinking about seeing how much it would be to custom build a roof rack similar to that leadfoot one and add the 40" LED..... Hmmm..

Are you talking about beefing up the axle itself?

Truss it, knuckle gussets, full case locker (stronger than the stock carrier) weld axle tubes to diff housing.
