Default MY Jeep Build Begins! Finally

Started into the process of building a real cool XJ. I have a long way to go but about 5-6 hours of work yesterday the RC 3" lift and BFG AT's are on. 31's are rubbing so have have to do some cutting yet. Here are a few pics. More of the total stance will be postedName: Lift Project 5.jpg

I am getting some driveline noise. I did lower the transfer case and I was wondering how long I can drive on it like this without too much worry. Greased everything I can for now. I am going to lower the tcase but is it really going to hurt it much if I put it off for a couple weeks. Crazy schedule wont let me do it now? Any thoughts?

u dont have to lower the t case for three inches. go any higher and you should though. it wouldnt hurt to drop it now but if your not getting any vibes then dont mess with it

i think it all depends on the lift and as weird as it might sound, the year. I have a 98 XJ with 6.5 inchs of lift and dont have any vibes at all

Being that this is titled as a build thread I have moved it from Fabrication. It is a pretty old topic and the OP only has a handful of posts, so you may not get a reply. You can try sending the OP a private message, which may trigger an email alert that he or she might see.
