Where does your exhaust end? When I first chopped mine and didn't have any type of tailgate, the fumes were terrible. I had to put a 90 on the end to take the tailpipe out the side until I got the tailgate on and enclosed the cab. Your rig looks good, by the way.

I have it end behind the rear passengar area with a 45 degree elbow pointed down on it. Never noticed the fumes, but I have no doors either. Thanks for the compliment on the rig.

Here is one of my favorite pics of my rig. This is from the dunes yesterday also. And yes, that is snow under the sand:

Got any closeup shots of how you welded the tube to the factory radius arm? Also, what did you make your lower coil mounts from? Thanks. Looks good

I would have to take a pic later of the arms later. But what I did was I cut them down, then welded the tubing to them. For added strength, I boxed everything around the tubing to the radius arms with 1/4" plate steel. They are heavy and maybe over kill, but I wanted to be sure lol. I made the lower coil mounts from 1/4" plate on the bottom. Then welded 1/8" tread plate around the bottom plate for the sides. Thanks man.

Thanks guys! Next mod is a cage. I have my tubing. Things are really busy now with graduating college next Friday. So after graduation, a cage is going in.

Been a good day! I just ordered my JD2 tube bender! that will be here in a few days. Also, I had to get the sawzall out and do some more "trimming" to my front fenders due to the stretch.

HaHa, my dad loves it when he comes out and sees his sawzall laying around my Jeep, he enjoys watching what is going to happen lmao:

Well its clear where you trimmed. Are you gonna try and roll the edges or leave it as is. It would be a shame to see those tires get sliced up? Do the bump stops stop the wheel before you hit now?

Yes it is lol! Ha yeah, I rolled them in. At $250 a tire, darn straight I don't want to cut them lol. The tires should not be hitting the fender anymore. My problem was that with the stretch, they were hitting the front parts of the fenders and bumper. Nothing 20 minutes couldn't cure

Just for kicks, here is the stockest pic i can find with it:

Name: SprintPhoto_b1rlv3.jpg

That is with just a 4.5 rc kit and 33s. Hard to believe that it is the same Jeep after 18 months. LMAO

What can I say, I like building stuff lol.
