thought that i would show you guys an updated photo. since the previous pics, i have built rock rails, tree sliders, added some 35" MT/Rs, bedlined from the windows down, and added an aussie locker in the rear. Jeep works awesome! just got back from Rocks And Valleys Off Road Park and did the black diamond trails with no problem.

no. a friend drew them up on ProE and we built it from the drawing. just build the center part first, then weld the sides and the stinger up later. thats what we did. took 2 days to build it. for the width, just make sure there is enough room for the the winch to bolt on.

well, i got a hairball idea to chop the xj this weekend. so, i did it lol. a friend came over to help, and we did it in about 10 hours lol. tell me what ya think. I am very happy with it and the visibility is amazing!

oh yeah, to brace everything back together, we caged the rear. used 1-3/4 tubing.

I love simple builds like this where every mod serves a specific purpose and there's not a bunch of unnecessary stuff done. Looks like that thing flat out works off road. Nice rig!
