Yep, perches were set. I had to make new shock mounts and had to swap out the u joint. Yours pay work, Ford used two different joints on this axle. So I had to get a two sized u joint for the shaft to the yoke. For brake lines, I went with Rough Country's longest ones(from a wrangler). Hope this helps ya.

Correct, the stock 9" perches don't need to be relocated. And yes, the ford 44 front is the same bolt pattern. I love my 44/9" axle combo. Wheeled it really hard and haven't had any problems with the axles. I definitley recommend this swap if you want to kick it up a notch for wheeling.

What about the front coil bucket on the 44?Somebody told me you dont really have to move them but the coils will be at a slight angle.I guess you used the radius arms too?Sorry for all the ? just seems like nobody does it and it seems like a damn good set up to me!

I made my own coil buckets. My springs are at a slight angle. Nothing to worry about. I cut the old radius arms and welded tubing on them with heim joints on the ends. The questions are fine man, if you have any more, just let me know. And it's a great set up!
That's one massive rig you got there.I would love to have places like those to crawl. We just don't have rocks down here,I guess that is why we don't see rigs like yours,Outstanding buddy very impressed with the home brew.
