Default My First Xj

So awhile ago i got my '99 cherokee sport, and i figured it was time i made a build thread..but be warnded it will be a slow but steady one

so this is when we first got it home 1999 jeep cherokee sport-153,000 miles and got it for $1800

so the first thing i did physically was i took the plastic off the front bumper to find it different colors and pretty banged up. so i repainted it after undoing the dents
Before

after

then i bought a roof rack for $25! from a guy in the Md Jeep Club which i am also a part of, but it was kinda rusted so i sand blasted it and am repainting it..i am not sure of which flooring type material to use..any suggestions are appreciated

then i was looking around the forum and 96_xj's false floor made me want to make one..so i did but i did my own twist on it

then i put a fire extinguisher on it and some rubber for the topping. i took the top of here but it is basically two different parts that open up in the middle

next i took some fog lights and put them on the bumper

A cool rig to start your jeep addiction...
Doesn't matter if the progress is slow as long as you get the set up that you really want...
Good luck...
