Got some things done today. Some planned and some not lol My muffler decided it didn't want to hang on the tail pipe today and I made it 50 miles home going down the parkway without losing it. I finally had time to mount my light bar. I need one more light so that I can use all the holes. Here are some pictures:

Tomorrow I'll be going to the JY to maybe find an overhead console. I'll also be getting a front shaft for temporary winter driving while I rebuild my other shaft.

So I went to the junkyard today and came out with a few things. Got everything for $50. I got a front drive shaft finally to hold me over until I fix my other one, A center light out of an Xterra to mount some switches to, and some hood louvers off of a Pontiac GTP with drip pans.

The plan is to mount switches on the long flat part on the front of it. I like the overhead consoles but I couldn't find one that wasn't broken so this will do fine.

Here's the vents

The back showing the drip pans

So here's the idea on placement. Now I just have to get the ***** to cut the hood. Still just a work in progress. I'll be painting them black to match of course.
Enjoy!!

A little more tinkering today. I decided to built some better roof rack supports. It's going to be a 1" square tube with 1/8" walls and the gutter mounts are 3/16". I plan on bed lining it and using all stainless hardware. Just in the beginning stages right now.

Woke up early this morning and went out shopping!! I was able to get a new tool set, new subwoofers, and 6 quarts of Mobil 1. The tool set was $140 off which made it $160 for 255 pieces. The subs are Kicker Comps and were buy one get one at Best Buy. The oil was $4 a quart which is pretty much half price. All in all it was a good morning.
